WORKSHOP: Build simple sound-making circuits and discover DIY synthesizers

July 9 @ 2:00 pm 6:00 pm

In this workshop, we’ll explore the world of DIY synthesizers by building simple sound making circuits from scratch. We’ll start with basic electronic components and breadboards, create our first oscillator, and then experiment with different ways of shaping, multiplying, and controlling sound.

Rather than focusing on technical theory, the workshop is centered around hands-on exploration, experimentation, and discovering unexpected sounds. Participants are encouraged to modify circuits, try their own ideas, and develop unique control methods along the way.

Hakan Kılıç is a sound enthusiast who loves exploring new ways of creating and shaping sound. Learning, experimenting, and following unexpected sonic ideas are what keeps him excited. He is particularly interested in both digital and analog tools, whether software, synthesizers, or electronic components, and enjoys using them as a playground for discovery and creative experimentation.

No technical or musical background is needed to join the workshop. MigrArt will provide all necessary materials.
