Acousmo is a concert and sound art series focused on intentional listening. It offers a space for concentrated engagement with live sound and aims to counter the fast and superficial consumption of music. In this cycle, Acousmo introduces a new format: each evening begins with two solo performances by musicians or sound artists that are curated by the community. These are followed by an improvised set where both artists perform together. The program concludes with DJ sets.

Pisitakun is a multidisciplinary artist and musician from Bangkok, Thailand. Active since 2014, his work spans visual and sound-based media, often rooted in political speculation and historical trauma. His 2016 album Black Country reflects on life under Thailand’s military rule post-2014 coup, composing a sonic world of dark dialogue and distorted memory. His approach represents a break from conventional narratives — questioning authority and revealing deep personal and collective frustrations.

Xafya (she/her) is a Zurich-based multidisciplinary artist working in music, film, and installation. Her sonic aesthetic blends ambient, deconstructed club, and epic collage — often with a video game-like, narrative structure. Her live sets weave tales of transformation, radical participation, and layered spiritual inquiry, oscillating between the terrestrial and the otherworldly.

Based in Iloilo City, Philippines, Spaaawn explores sound through electronics, field recordings, sampling, and digital audio processing. His work interacts with physical environments and reflects the dissonance of our internet age. Spaaawn crafts immersive soundscapes that move between subtle introspection and sensory overload.

DJ Sets

TVBXS (ZH)
Born in southern Switzerland to Dominican-Chilean parents, TVBXS is a versatile DJ known for navigating between intense rave energy, experimental club elements, and organic Latin influences. Their sets invite listeners into an emotionally charged world — blending melancholy, rage, irony, and joy.

BABY VAL (ZH)
Baby Val merges techno, electro, jungle, breaks, and nostalgic RnB edits into a deeply textured dancefloor experience. Her mixes are playful yet bold, constantly breaking and re-shaping rhythmic expectations to open new dimensions for the listener.

PONY PRIDE (FR)
Hailing from Marseille, Pony Pride is a DJ and producer exploring the boundaries of experimental club music. His sets are known for emotional intensity, trance-inflected drama, and chaotic elegance. Expect abysmal basslines, broken rhythms, and euphoric spirals – a celebration of sonic fantasy and dancefloor freedom.
