Shattered dreams. Escape from oppressive laws. Harsh realities. Sad memories. These are the experiences a young journalist must face when he is politically persecuted by the government of his home country, the Philippines, due to his personal beliefs and insistence on human rights. As the hopeful young man reflects on his past, he remembers the fear and violence that darkened his future. But the light at the end of a dark tunnel shines brightest. New hope arises when he meets Sister Emma, a member of the Missionary Sisters of Mary, who fled the repressive government of her homeland with the hope of starting a freer life in a new country. But as the two settle in Switzerland, hope blossoms in them to soon return to their homeland and reveal to the world the dark side of their country’s government, in order to help those in need.
