DESCRIPTION:In this workshop\, we’ll explore the world of DIY synthesizers by building simple sound making circuits from scratch. We’ll start with basic electronic components and breadboards\, create our first oscillator\, and then experiment with different ways of shaping\, multiplying\, and controlling sound. \n\n\n\nRather than focusing on technical theory\, the workshop is centered around hands-on exploration\, experimentation\, and discovering unexpected sounds. Participants are encouraged to modify circuits\, try their own ideas\, and develop unique control methods along the way. \n\n\n\nHakan Kılıç is a sound enthusiast who loves exploring new ways of creating and shaping sound. Learning\, experimenting\, and following unexpected sonic ideas are what keeps him excited. He is particularly interested in both digital and analog tools\, whether software\, synthesizers\, or electronic components\, and enjoys using them as a playground for discovery and creative experimentation. \n\n\n\nNo technical or musical background is needed to join the workshop. The global political climate has increasingly embraced fascist and conservative tendencies\, which have also translated into policy making and further structural exclusion of marginalized communities. Through the work of organizations such as Casa Kuà and TSEF\, it is made evident that building structures around mutual care isn’t just an option but also a responsibility. Processes of establishing these organizations are an expression of hope for a more equitable present and future\, but also signify resistance that is informed by histories of struggles for liberation. \n\n\n\nThe panel discussion is delving into the lessons each organization has learned over the past few years (or since their inception)\, touch on tangible fields of action in the current moment\, and explore (utopian) visions of futures that draw from past and present realities where QTIBIPoC already lived in ways that seemed impossible.

Diese Erfahrungen prägten früh seine Sicht auf die Welt. Literatur wurde für ihn bald zu einem Zufluchtsort und zu einer Quelle des Verstehens – besonders durch die emotionale Kraft\, die Worte tragen können. \n\n\n\nNachdem seine Familie aufgrund der Gefahren rund um die Arbeit seiner Eltern gezwungen war\, die Philippinen zu verlassen\, wandte er sich in einer schwierigen Lebensphase zunehmend der Poesie zu. Bis heute fasziniert ihn die Fähigkeit von Gedichten\, tiefe und komplexe Gefühle mit wenigen\, sorgfältig gewählten Worten auszudrücken. Through tea\, sweetness\, shared presence\, and simple gestures\, it asks: What is the language of belonging? What do we carry in the body before words arrive? What forms of belonging become possible when we gather\, listen\, and care for one another? \n\n\n\nParticipants are welcome to drink tea together and allow themselves to be present in the space\, with their bodies and with one another. Literature soon became both a refuge and a source of understanding for me\, especially after reading and discovering the emotional power that words can carry. After my family was forced to flee the Philippines due to the dangers surrounding my parents’ work\, I turned increasingly toward poetry during a difficult period in my life. I remain deeply drawn to poetry’s ability to express profound and complex emotions through only a few carefully chosen words. From then on\, I began trying to create pieces that could pull others out of the depths in the same way poetry became a refuge for me\, which is why no matter how dark my poems begin\, there will always be something sweet after the bitter.  \n\n\n\ndispel  \n\n\n\nPerformance by body_hacker and suziethecockroach \n\n\n\ndispel (2026) is a sonically animated text-based work-in-progress performance piece. Two Black queer oracle personae work at a fictitious company called Nordic Melancholy where they are tasked with conjuring curses and prophecies for a living directed toward the Danish psyche. Yet\, the oracles are tricked by their own gifts as their oracular power undoes itself through futures that refuse to be known. Her online “Bundaskanzlerin” serves as a social media critique of Germany’s exclusionary political/art world\, utilizing found footage\, video collages\, photography and memes to create an “anti censorship” language and tackle censored topics. With her pedagogical memes and adept teaching skills\, Naya has become one of Berlin’s most influential voices\, sought after by art and cultural institutions aiming to engage younger and marginalized audiences in Germany. \n\n\n\nWith a background in gastronomy\, Naya is a classically trained chef de cuisine with a degree in the field. She worked in the restaurant industry until 2021\, notably at Kin Dee Berlin\, established by Michelin star chef Dalad Khambu and artist and chef Rirkrit Tiravanija. While she occasionally continues her culinary pursuits\, Naya’s culinary philosophy extends beyond the kitchen\, viewing food as a catalyst for social cohesion. She has curated events at prestigious venues such as C/O Gallery Berlin and Coin Coin Zurich. \n\n\n\nAdditionally\, Naya is recognized for her contributions as an educator and HIV rights activist\, collaborating with esteemed institutions including AIDSHILFE (Berlin\, Mittelhessen\, Zurich)\, Checkpoint\, TriQ\, MigrationsRat\, and Les Migras. She has also delivered lectures at renowned universities such as UDK\, HWR Berlin\, and Willem de Kooning Academy. \n\n\n\nConcert \n\n\n\nby Anouchka Gwen \n\n\n\nAnouchka Gwen (*1997) is a swiss born and raised singer-songwriter\, bass player and cultural worker currently based in Zurich\, Switzerland. \n\n\n\nThe vulnerability\, complexities and emotions that life brings are their main inspirations. With their dreamy and bassy voice\, they aim to voice their deepest and most honest thoughts and unapologetically take space. As an artist with congolese roots\, they’re influenced and inspired by repetitive\, soulful and rhythmic melodies and mixes it with their love for electronic psychedelic wide pop infused soundscapes. \n\n\n\nAfter a needed break from the stage as a front person\, Anouchka Gwen decides to go back to their beginning ways\, solo on stage\, offering their deepest thoughts in a vulnerable way with their voice and bass only. \n\n\n\nThe evening will be moderated by Zarina Tadjibaeva

What is needed is openness and curiosity.  \n\n\n\n\nDE : Workshop „Reise in die archaische Stimme“\nIn Saadet Türköz’ Workshop wird die Stimme zu einem Raum des Austauschs zwischen den Teilnehmenden. We showcase our experiences as migrants\, refugees\, and victims of injustice and inequality. \n\n\n\nRemembering drag from its origins. From the Stonewall Riots to the AIDS crisis\, drag performers and activists have been among the loudest voices shedding light on issues affecting the LGBTQIA+ community around the globe. \n\n\n\nDrag in general blends art\, activism\, and performance\, and is not just a form of entertainment; rather\, it’s a vehicle for educating our people about our current struggles.  Is drag an effective tool for change? \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTia Tilapia is a baby drag queen from the Philippines\, inspired by the tilapia fish—accessible to the masses yet capable of refinement and elegance. Her drag blends relatability with elevated artistry\, using performance as a tool for storytelling. \n\n\n\nThrough Tia-Novela\, a satirical improvisational format rooted in Filipinos love for telenovelas/soap operas\, Tia Tilapia addresses social issues while drawing from personal experiences of racism\, discrimination\, and growing up in a machismo-driven culture. Drag becomes both resistance and healing—a space to unlearn imposed norms and reclaim identity through beauty\, wit\, and theatrical excess. \n\n\n\nNow based in Barcelona\, Tia Tilapia continues to develop her craft and explore new performance contexts. She seeks opportunities to present her work internationally\, offering audiences a performance that is playful\, political\, and Filipino coded—ready to swim beyond familiar waters and make waves on global stages. \n\n\n\nAngie Addo (they/sie) aka Coochie Water (they/sie) Angie ist Aktivist*in\, Kunstschaffende\, Sänger*in\, Produzent*in\, Schauspieler*in\, Veranstalter*in\, DJ und noch viel mehr. Originally\, they completed training and further education in disability care and later worked as a trade union secretary. \n\n\n\nThey are a board member of the Lesbian Organisation Switzerland and co-president of Dampfzentrale in Bern. Tabea is also the founder of Milchbar and the anti-capitalist CSD in Bern. Through various projects at the intersection of politics\, community\, and culture\, they advocate for queer visibility and social justice. \n\n\n\nFor six years\, Tabea also had the privilege of being politically active as a member of the Bern City Council and the Grand Council. At the moment\, they are focusing more strongly again on extra-parliamentary activism\, for example as a drag artist. As a Drag King / Quing\, Tabea has been performing for seven years under the name Bartli von Glitzer. \n\n\n\nTogether with Angela Addo\, they co-founded the drag collective Horny Drag Family\, which organises and curates its own events in addition to performances. \n\n\n\nAs a lesbian\, non-binary Person of Color\, Tabea is especially committed to making lesbian and queer diversity visible.
