SUMMARY:la_cápsula : Workshop “The Body as Territory” by RamaR collective
DESCRIPTION:08.07.26  12:00 – 15:30  \n\n\n\nEN : Workshop description \nEN : Workshop description  \n\n\n\nThe RamaR collective invites people to work with imagination and exercise about the quality of occupation in public spaces in Zurich. The Body as Territory deals with the materiality that bodies carry from other territories and how we create spaces within the Swiss territory based on this diversity. In this immersive workshop\, we will experience images in a sensory way and dream of reality through sensitivity. \n\n\n\nThe idea behind the workshop is to create a space to listen to the diverse population. Not just verbal listening\, but listening expressed through artistic experience. The result of this workshop\, in the form of an artistic laboratory\, is a collection of conversations\, sounds\, and interventions in the space. The idea is to invite people to create together in a free and experimental field\, recognising\, above all\, that the raw material of this experience is the subjectivity of the diverse people who make up the space and the importance of their voices. Initially\, we will work with the resource of voice to bring a quality of presence to the space. And in a second phase\, we will use various plastic materials to create an architecture in the space together. This project precedes a larger urban intervention project in the space that the RamaR collective is developing in the city of Zurich. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nEN : RamaR collective\nWe are planners\, artists and interventionists. We foster connections between art & nature\, creating new possibilities for encounter\, transformation\, and belonging across diverse spaces. \n\n\n\nClara Khan is a contemporary visual artist\, researcher\, and activist specializing in art therapy\, with studies in Brazil and Switzerland. Her interdisciplinary work connects art\, sustainability\, and socio-cultural intervention. She is currently developing Hybrid Culture\, a research project exploring expression and diversity. Last year (2025) held a solo exhibition at Dynamo\, presenting video art that reflects on her experience as an immigrant and flaneur in Zurich called “Hybrid Woman”. Her current practice focuses on poetry\, drawing\, photography\, and video. The essence of their creative expression is the experience of Art\, Poetry & Nature.  \n\n\n\nDandara Modesto is a Brazilian transdisciplinary artist: singer\, performer and music producer based in Zurich/Switzerland. A researcher of the body and sound\, she works with memory\, rhythm\, displacement\, reverberations\, spatiality\, counter-coloniality and ancestry. Throughout her career\, she has collaborated on various music\, dance\, theater\, visual arts and performance projects in Brazil and Europe. Dandara has produced\, composed and directed soundtracks for films and performances\, such as “Movimento III_Celebration\, post tsunami foams” (Mario Lopes)\, “Afrotranstopia (Mario Lopes\, David Muñoz\, Mahal Pita)\, “Die Schwarzen Brüder” (Mbene Mwambene\, Theater Basel). She was awarded with the Performancepreis Schweiz prize for her work “Neon Bush Girl Society”. In her latest album\, “Estrangeira”\, Dandara reverberates about the female body in transit\, migration and the power of otherness. \n\n\n\nMarina Herías-Sáenz is a systems thinker\, strategist\, and project manager with experience in impact innovation\, entrepreneurship\, and finance. She studied in leading technical universities in Madrid\, Milan\, and Munich. She leads early-stage organizations from conceptualization into action and enables scalable change. Last year\, she supported  20+ startups with storytelling\, matchmaking\, and impact reporting. In and beyond her work\, she lives with conviction\, her purpose of guiding and inspiring others to recover\, experience\, and grow their connection to their environment\, to others\, and to their nature.

SUMMARY:Je ne vous l’apprends pas: Indigenous Science and auto Fiction by Saya x collective x
DESCRIPTION:visual created by Cielïs Yanic Bravo González\n\n\n\nThe talk will be held in English \n\n\n\nAudio-drama listening session and after talk with author Saya Mamani moderated by Cielïs Yanic Bravo González\, x collective x\nSiamo fatte per sopravvivere a questo mondo freddo: An Indigenous transgender person is trapped within patriarchal structures that render them invisible\, their Two-Spirit identity erased by colonialism. An animal\, also trapped\, within the confines of a farm. Speciesism has turned their bodies into commodities to be sold\, their lives into spoils to be taken by force. Both are fighting for their freedom; will they find it together? (episode in Italian\, by Saya Mamani\, translation to German and English) \n\n\n\nAbout the author \n\n\n\nSaya Mamani\, born in Peru\, is a trans and anti-racist feminist activist. Her background and experiences as a brown trans woman have led her to become politically active. Passionate about the world of translation and writing\, she has published texts in Italian – often under the pseudonym “bidodici” – on the themes of anti-speciesism and anti-racism. \n\n\n\nAbout the production: \n\n\n\nSiamo fatte per sopravvivere a questo mondo freddo is the first episode of three from the audio-drama\, je ne vous l’apprends pas. \n\n\n\nje ne vous l’apprends pas blends fictionalized fragmented memoires\, afro-cosmic autofiction and indigenous sciences to tell stories of liberation: We encounter a child bouncing across rooftops\, a Two-Spirit person standing up against western patriarchal hostility on a train in the middle of nowhere and collective voices shouting\, dancing\, breathing for freedom. We experience other worlds\, amidst ancient stars\, opening cages of animal farms and are moved by a simple phone call with a friend we wish we could be. \n\n\n\nje ne vous l’apprends pas connects storytelling and sound composition creating an immersive sound experience rooted in constant movement and transformation. It’s audioscape moves fluidly across sub humming\, shouted songs\, thick silences\, squeaking tram brakes\, wind flowing through a field under the dust of dying stars in a summer night. \n\n\n\nThe encounter of sound and storytelling unsettles borders between languages\, geographies\, bodies and perception\, resisting fixed meaning and stable form. With je ne vous l’apprends pas\, x collective x offers a shared space for experimentation and relation\, where alternative ways of being and knowing can be articulated beyond dominant hierarchies and categorization. \n\n\n\nCredits \n\n\n\nAuthor episode 1 : Saya Mamani \n\n\n\nAuthors full project : Saya Mamani\, Nayansaku Mufwankolo\, Meloe Gennai \n\n\n\nSound composition : Legion Seven \n\n\n\nProduction : Legion Seven \n\n\n\nRecording\, editing & mixing: Ben Pauli
Voice Acting & translation : Cielïs Bravo González
Coordination: Cielïs Bravo González\, Jamika Ajalon\, Dania Schellenberg
Artistic direction: Jamika Ajalon\, Meloe Gennai \n\n\n\n\nThis project is supported by \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event will be prix libre(pay what you can). SUMMARY:WORKSHOP: Build simple sound-making circuits and discover DIY synthesizers
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop\, we’ll explore the world of DIY synthesizers by building simple sound making circuits from scratch. We’ll start with basic electronic components and breadboards\, create our first oscillator\, and then experiment with different ways of shaping\, multiplying\, and controlling sound. \n\n\n\nRather than focusing on technical theory\, the workshop is centered around hands-on exploration\, experimentation\, and discovering unexpected sounds. Participants are encouraged to modify circuits\, try their own ideas\, and develop unique control methods along the way. \n\n\n\nHakan Kılıç is a sound enthusiast who loves exploring new ways of creating and shaping sound. Learning\, experimenting\, and following unexpected sonic ideas are what keeps him excited. He is particularly interested in both digital and analog tools\, whether software\, synthesizers\, or electronic components\, and enjoys using them as a playground for discovery and creative experimentation. \n\n\n\nNo technical or musical background is needed to join the workshop. MigrArt will provide all necessary materials.

SUMMARY:Community structures in flux: responsibility\, care and resistance With Casa Kua and TSEF
DESCRIPTION:Community structures in flux: responsibility\, care and resistance\nA Conversation with Casa Kuà and Trans Safety Emergency Fund moderated by FONCÉ \n\n\n\nPanelists: Tzoa (Casa Kuà)\, Fabz Kagimu (TSEF)\, Moderation: FONCÉ (MigrArt\, OKRA Collective) \n\n\n\nThe past few years have made it even more urgent for marginalized communities to build structures that are reliable and interdependent. The global political climate has increasingly embraced fascist and conservative tendencies\, which have also translated into policy making and further structural exclusion of marginalized communities. Through the work of organizations such as Casa Kuà and TSEF\, it is made evident that building structures around mutual care isn’t just an option but also a responsibility. Processes of establishing these organizations are an expression of hope for a more equitable present and future\, but also signify resistance that is informed by histories of struggles for liberation. \n\n\n\nThe panel discussion is delving into the lessons each organization has learned over the past few years (or since their inception)\, touch on tangible fields of action in the current moment\, and explore (utopian) visions of futures that draw from past and present realities where QTIBIPoC already lived in ways that seemed impossible.

SUMMARY:Cabaret @Cabaret Voltaire : Zarina Tadjibaeva / Naya de souza / Ethan Luis Dagatan / Anouchka Gwen / Standford Chen / dispel
DESCRIPTION:DE : Program Cabaret Voltaire \n \n\n\n\nEröffnungszeremonie: Chrysanthemum meets Hundred Blossomsvon Zarina Tadjibaeva und Stanford Chen \n\n\n\nChrysanthemum Meets Hundred Blossoms ist eine partizipative Teezeremonie von Stanford Chen und Zarina Tadjibaeva. \n\n\n\n\nEN : Programme Cabaret Voltaire\nCabaret Voltaire \n\n\n\nPerformance\, concerts \n\n\n\n09.07.26  \n\n\n\n19:00 -23:00 \n\n\n\nOpening Ceremony: Chrysanthemum meets Hundred Blossoms \n\n\n\nby Zarina Tadjibaeva and Stanford Chen \n\n\n\nChrysanthemum Meets Hundred Blossoms is a participatory tea ceremony by Stanford Chen and Zarina Tadjibaeva\, shaped through conversations around diaspora\, mother tongues\, embodied memory\, and the many languages of our roots. \n\n\n\nTogether\, they invite participants into a gentle space of connection\, listening\, and quiet grounding. Through tea\, sweetness\, shared presence\, and simple gestures\, it asks: What is the language of belonging? What do we carry in the body before words arrive? What forms of belonging become possible when we gather\, listen\, and care for one another? \n\n\n\nParticipants are welcome to drink tea together and allow themselves to be present in the space\, with their bodies and with one another. They may share a word\, a thought\, sound or a moment of silence. All languages are welcome.  \n\n\n\nAt the heart of the ceremony is a simple invitation: to feel belonging as something lived in the body\, in relation\, and in the many languages of our roots.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPoetry reading \n\n\n\nby Ethan Dagatan \n\n\n\nBorn into a politically active family\, I spent much of my childhood attending demonstrations and protests alongside my parents\, experiences that shaped my worldview from an early age. Literature soon became both a refuge and a source of understanding for me\, especially after reading and discovering the emotional power that words can carry. After my family was forced to flee the Philippines due to the dangers surrounding my parents’ work\, I turned increasingly toward poetry during a difficult period in my life. I remain deeply drawn to poetry’s ability to express profound and complex emotions through only a few carefully chosen words. From then on\, I began trying to create pieces that could pull others out of the depths in the same way poetry became a refuge for me\, which is why no matter how dark my poems begin\, there will always be something sweet after the bitter.  \n\n\n\ndispel  \n\n\n\nPerformance by body_hacker and suziethecockroach \n\n\n\ndispel (2026) is a sonically animated text-based work-in-progress performance piece. Two Black queer oracle personae work at a fictitious company called Nordic Melancholy where they are tasked with conjuring curses and prophecies for a living directed toward the Danish psyche. Yet\, the oracles are tricked by their own gifts as their oracular power undoes itself through futures that refuse to be known. The performance personae are played by the long-time Copenhagen-based collaborator duo body_hacker (Sall Lam Toro) and suziethecockroach (Alma Silva)\, who bring humour\, intensity\, subversive wordplay\, and otherworldly mystery to the writing of these texts accompanied by Asta Norborg’s soundscape compositions. \n\n\n\nCredits: \n\n\n\nbody_hacker – creator\, co-writer\, co-performer \n\n\n\nsuziethecockroach – co-writer\, co-performer \n\n\n\nAsta Norborg – sound composition  \n\n\n\nOsman Farrah – costume making  \n\n\n\nNina Cramer – review \n\n\n\nStand-Up Comedy by Naya de Souza \n\n\n\nBased in Berlin since 2016\, Naya has stormed the cultural scene with her multimedia cabaret performances and politically charged stand-up sets. Her online “Bundaskanzlerin” serves as a social media critique of Germany’s exclusionary political/art world\, utilizing found footage\, video collages\, photography and memes to create an “anti censorship” language and tackle censored topics. With her pedagogical memes and adept teaching skills\, Naya has become one of Berlin’s most influential voices\, sought after by art and cultural institutions aiming to engage younger and marginalized audiences in Germany. \n\n\n\nWith a background in gastronomy\, Naya is a classically trained chef de cuisine with a degree in the field. She worked in the restaurant industry until 2021\, notably at Kin Dee Berlin\, established by Michelin star chef Dalad Khambu and artist and chef Rirkrit Tiravanija. While she occasionally continues her culinary pursuits\, Naya’s culinary philosophy extends beyond the kitchen\, viewing food as a catalyst for social cohesion. She has curated events at prestigious venues such as C/O Gallery Berlin and Coin Coin Zurich. \n\n\n\nAdditionally\, Naya is recognized for her contributions as an educator and HIV rights activist\, collaborating with esteemed institutions including AIDSHILFE (Berlin\, Mittelhessen\, Zurich)\, Checkpoint\, TriQ\, MigrationsRat\, and Les Migras. She has also delivered lectures at renowned universities such as UDK\, HWR Berlin\, and Willem de Kooning Academy. \n\n\n\nConcert \n\n\n\nby Anouchka Gwen \n\n\n\nAnouchka Gwen (*1997) is a swiss born and raised singer-songwriter\, bass player and cultural worker currently based in Zurich\, Switzerland. \n\n\n\nThe vulnerability\, complexities and emotions that life brings are their main inspirations. With their dreamy and bassy voice\, they aim to voice their deepest and most honest thoughts and unapologetically take space. As an artist with congolese roots\, they’re influenced and inspired by repetitive\, soulful and rhythmic melodies and mixes it with their love for electronic psychedelic wide pop infused soundscapes. \n\n\n\nAfter a needed break from the stage as a front person\, Anouchka Gwen decides to go back to their beginning ways\, solo on stage\, offering their deepest thoughts in a vulnerable way with their voice and bass only. \n\n\n\nThe evening will be moderated by Zarina Tadjibaeva

SUMMARY:Archaic voice journey - Improvisation through sound and noise by Saadet Türköz
DESCRIPTION:EN : Workshop „Archaic voice journey“ \nIn Saadet Türköz’s workshop\, the voice becomes a space of exchange between participants. She works with a language that does not rely on clear meaning or understandable content. Instead\, its apparent meaninglessness takes on a physical presence\, gradually forming shapes\, gestures and responses. What emerges is a kind of narrative process in which spontaneous reactions and actions create a joyful\, playful and thought-provoking experience. \n\n\n\nThis Workshop requires no prior knowledge and is suitable for everyone. What is needed is openness and curiosity.

SUMMARY:Talk ‘Drag for Change’ - with Tia Tilapia from Dragtivista collective\, Horny Drag aka Tabea Rai and Angie Addo
DESCRIPTION:Weaponizing the art of drag as a medium for resistance. We showcase our experiences as migrants\, refugees\, and victims of injustice and inequality. \n\n\n\nRemembering drag from its origins. From the Stonewall Riots to the AIDS crisis\, drag performers and activists have been among the loudest voices shedding light on issues affecting the LGBTQIA+ community around the globe. \n\n\n\nDrag in general blends art\, activism\, and performance\, and is not just a form of entertainment; rather\, it’s a vehicle for educating our people about our current struggles.  Is drag an effective tool for change? \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTia Tilapia is a baby drag queen from the Philippines\, inspired by the tilapia fish—accessible to the masses yet capable of refinement and elegance. Her drag blends relatability with elevated artistry\, using performance as a tool for storytelling. \n\n\n\nThrough Tia-Novela\, a satirical improvisational format rooted in Filipinos love for telenovelas/soap operas\, Tia Tilapia addresses social issues while drawing from personal experiences of racism\, discrimination\, and growing up in a machismo-driven culture. Drag becomes both resistance and healing—a space to unlearn imposed norms and reclaim identity through beauty\, wit\, and theatrical excess. \n\n\n\nNow based in Barcelona\, Tia Tilapia continues to develop her craft and explore new performance contexts. She seeks opportunities to present her work internationally\, offering audiences a performance that is playful\, political\, and Filipino coded—ready to swim beyond familiar waters and make waves on global stages. \n\n\n\nTabea Rai is an activist\, cultural worker\, politician\, and drag artist from Bern. Professionally\, they have recently started working as Project Lead for Inclusion at the Swiss National Youth Council (SAJV)\, as well as in member support at ABQ. Originally\, they completed training and further education in disability care and later worked as a trade union secretary. \n\n\n\nThey are a board member of the Lesbian Organisation Switzerland and co-president of Dampfzentrale in Bern. Tabea is also the founder of Milchbar and the anti-capitalist CSD in Bern. Through various projects at the intersection of politics\, community\, and culture\, they advocate for queer visibility and social justice. \n\n\n\nFor six years\, Tabea also had the privilege of being politically active as a member of the Bern City Council and the Grand Council. At the moment\, they are focusing more strongly again on extra-parliamentary activism\, for example as a drag artist. As a Drag King / Quing\, Tabea has been performing for seven years under the name Bartli von Glitzer. \n\n\n\nTogether with Angela Addo\, they co-founded the drag collective Horny Drag Family\, which organises and curates its own events in addition to performances. \n\n\n\nAs a lesbian\, non-binary Person of Color\, Tabea is especially committed to making lesbian and queer diversity visible.

SUMMARY:FILM@CLUBRAUM: All that you could be
DESCRIPTION:All that you could be \n\n\n\nDirector: Ricardo Alves Jr.  \n\n\n\nCast: Aisha Brunno\, Bramma Bremmer\, Igui Leal e Will Soares \n\n\n\nDrama\, 83 minutes \n\n\n\nLanguage: Portuguese with English subtitles \n\n\n\nSYNOPSISAisha is about to leave and spends a final\, special day with her best friends – Igui\, Bramma\, and Willa. Amid laughter and tears\, confessions and tender moments\, they celebrate their time together to the fullest as the sunrise illuminates the deep and sincere beauty of their friendship. \n\n\n\nBlurring the lines between reality and fiction\, All that You Could Be offers an authentic portrait of queer freedom at its most vibrant. Through the characters’ eyes\, we are drawn into a sensitive and luminous journey of dissident bodies\, revealing what makes us more human: love\, friendship\, and the joy of being who we truly are. \n\n\n\nMore than just a film\, it stands as a manifesto of care\, belonging\, and connection. The filmmaker explores themes of survival in the face of intolerance and the affirmation of identity in a world where the queer community continues to encounter harsh realities. Ultimately\, the film is an ode to resilience – the power to confront adversity and to flourish\, even within hostile environments.
